Welcome to East Lancashire Internet Radio, covering Blackburn, Burnley, Rossendale, Ramsbottom, Accrington, Bacup, Colne and anywhere where you have access to the internet.

We are based in Rossendale,  East Lancashire hence the name, and our events page is for the local community but the music we play is for all to listen to no matter where in the world you are. Many parts of East Lancashire especially Rossendale, has limited traditional radio coverage due to the geographics and being in a valley, by being an internet radio station we get around this problem. This makes us very different from the normal run of the mill radio station and means that you get to hear us in the best quality available.

Another difference is we are fully automated; no DJ's talking at you about their life and what they watched on TV last night. During the day we play a wide variety of the best music, both current and a blast from the past! After work we continue to play a varied selection of music and more album tracks from popular artists of the last 40/50 years.

We are also looking to set time aside for local bands and artists so anyone that has recorded an mp3 send it in with an intro of who you are and we will schedule it in. Email any MP3s to studio@east-lancs-radio.co.uk and we will get back to you with when we are likely to schedule the track in.

As technology moves on there is no need to have a computer or laptop etc to listen to radio over the internet, you can access East Lancs Internet Radio, through your IPhone or by using an Internet Radio, looks like a normal radio but allows you to access internet radio stations.
